Site Rules
MDF/IDF is not to be left unlocked at any time by the technician/contractor if they leave the area. If found to be left unlocked the technician/contractor will be removed from the site and not provided any further access. If you require access back into the room call Security Control Room. If you require assistance to various locations throughout the centre this can only be provided by means of booking a security guard at your cost who will be able to walk with you to assist in finding these areas.
Site Works
All works that are completed on-site will be in a professional manner.
- On completion of the work, you will phone Security Control and sign out of the induction system.
- All covers reinstated
- All documentation shall be completed
- Any damage will be repaired and notified to Security Control
- No doors to be left open and unattended while on site
- No parking in the loading dock areas
- No use of shopping trolleys
- Obey all rules provided by Security
- Ensure the area is left clean and tidy
Process
Prior to any work being undertaken by any Telecommunications contractors at any Westfield site, the following form must be completed, and all supporting documentation provided at least 48 hours prior to works being undertaken. All contractors must sign in with security and must be inducted for the site prior to any works commencing. The contractor is required to bring the approved form and supporting documentation to the site when works are planned.
Failure to comply with the above will delay the approval of the works.
A. For ALL Works (inc. site inspection) provide:
1. Westfield Contractor Works Approval Form (see below) completed;
2. Workers Compensation Certificate of Currency (All States);
3. Public Liability Certificate of Currency (Minimum $20m required);
4. Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS): Aligned to the Site and Works being undertaken, refer to the relevant Legislation;
5. Scope of Works: (WHAT) Design/Drawings/Photo Packs describing the work;
6. Implementation Plan: (HOW) Describe the approach to the execution of the
work;
7. Work Areas: (WHERE) Describe the location of where the works are proposed including any special access requirements;
8. Access Requestor/Principal Contractor/Operator (WHO) Who are the works being undertaken for and who is performing the works;
9. Proposed Dates and Times: (WHEN) and for how long the works are proposed;
B: Centre Inductions - Please note that for all Centre Inductions our contractor management platform (Beakon) will be used. After receiving approval for site access please contact the relevant Facilities Manager to be enrolled, if you do not have a current Beakon ID.
