Any pre-approval (via the Westfield Telco portal) granted is based on the declaration that the contractor has confirmed the associated works have been verified in full compliance with the relevant state and territory health orders and restrictions for the scheduled date of works.
Where health orders and restrictions are in effect, the contractor shall contact the facility management (FM) team to ensure that the FM team has all relevant information, prior to attending the site. Contractors that turn up to the site without the information as required or requested, will have their access denied and may have their access to Westfield sites suspended.
The following questions are to be discussed with the crew at the daily prestart meeting:
- Are you experiencing any signs of cold/flu-like symptoms, coughing, difficulty breathing, or fever?
- In the last 14 days have you or anyone in your household been in close contact with a person who:
a) has traveled from overseas?
b) has been suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 virus?
On-site precautions.
- WASH your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- AVOID touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- AVOID close contact with people who are sick.
- STAY home when you are sick.
- COVER your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- CLEAN and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- If you have any concerns please notify your line manager or WHS Manager.
- When possible maintain a social distance of 2m.
- Use your own pen when signing on any documentation.
